The grapes come from the Preisen vineyard in Pfaffstätten. By processing the grapes very gently, we are able to fill a very clean must into used barrique barrels. This must is then given plenty of time to ferment at higher fermentation temperatures. We also add approx. 10% whole berries to the must to create complexity in the wine. The wine then remains on the lees until April and is stirred every 2 weeks. The result is a very full-bodied, powerful white wine with a wonderful, varietal fruit on the nose.
Taste: a delicate hint of vanilla and yellow tropical fruit, with some peach and fine wood spice. Complex, juicy, creamy touch, delicate hints of melon and caramel, fine fruit sweetness on the finish

The Thermenregion is one of the oldest wine-growing regions in Austria and is located 30 km south of Vienna in Lower Austria. The region is influenced by the Pannonian climate. Typical of this are hot summers, dry weather in the fall and cooler winters.
Two different soil types form the basis for full-bodied red wines and finesse-rich white wines.
