The Thomas Werner wine line is now also available in our store! What the young Thomas Werner brings to the bottle here is pretty big tennis! It seems like a less aristocratic version of a classic Burgundy. The spectrum of aromas is extremely broad. Juicy pear, lime zest, fresh almonds, salty butter dough... Plus a little something green, like freshly cut flowers. On tasting, the somewhat impetuous power initially hits you in the face, but then dissolves playfully and freshly, leaving you somewhat puzzled. Did that really just happen? Take the next sip right away... Definitely independent, cool stuff. Perfect as a souvenir for the next dinner party. Also suitable for discerning parents-in-law.

Bottler, importer: Weingut Arndt F. Werner GbR, Mainzer Straße 97, Mainzer Straße 97, 55218 Ingelheim, DE

Our family has been living in Ingelheim am Rhein for 8 generations. We have been working ecologically for over 40 years.

Our green Hofgut is located in the middle of Nieder-Ingelheim, directly on the outer walls of the historic imperial Palatinate Charles of the Great. This was founded in 1819 by our ancestor Johann Baptist Werner.

Occologically out of conviction

Our 18-hectare vineyard can be found in traditional vineyards in Ober- and Nieder-Ingelheim, Gau-Algesheim and Ockenheim. The warm, calcareous Ingelheim flight lands and the hydrobien limestone floors create an ideal terroir for dense and intensive red wines from international format. But also delicate, self -confident and harmonious white wines also benefit from these unique ground conditions. Almost all grapes are read and selected by hand. Strong qualities consistently, from playful estate for every day to the high -quality, mineral single layer wine in the peak segment. Each wine reflects the characteristic properties of our vineyards and the craftsmanship of our family of winegrowers.
