2018 Tarón Cepas Centenarias

Dark, bright cherry red in the glass. Very elegant, complex aroma, with lots of ripe fruit, dark forest berries, violet blossom, dark chocolate, tobacco, oak and distinct notes of licorice. On the palate, the wine is concentrated, powerful but elegant, with lots of ripe fruit, velvety tannins, fine minerality and a long, spicy finish.

Recommendation: Serve at 18 degrees Celsius, preferably decanted, goes very well with hearty meat dishes, braised rabbit with rosemary, but also with spicy Manchego.
