2020 Syrah Reserve

The Tulip Syrah Reserve is part of the winery's premium line, for which the grapes come from the best vineyards, the wines are aged for between 18 and 24 months in French barrique barrels and are only brought to market after a further maturation period in the bottle. This Syrah sparkles a brilliant ruby red in the glass, with intense aromas of dark plums and blackberries on the nose, along with fine peppery notes and a hint of cocoa. The palate is gripping with a powerful structure and wonderful juiciness, the intense fruity notes and refreshing herbal spice are complemented by subtle earthy hints, fine tannins and perfectly integrated acidity lend a certain elegance that suits the Syrah perfectly. The finish is soft and harmonious - a wonderfully complex Syrah with that certain something!
