Fine interplay of fruit acidity and sweetness, uncomplicated drinking pleasure with fine fruity aromas on the nose and palate.
Site: The slope of the Steinberg faces south to southwest. It has a medium to deep, skeleton-rich soil with good drainage. The lower part consists of sandy to clayey loam and the upper part of stony-grassy slate soils. The wall around the Steinberg protects the site from the infiltration of cold air from the Taunus mountain ranges.

The history of Weingut Kloster Eberbach goes back just as far as the history of the cultural monument itself: Even for the French monks who settled in the Rheingau at the beginning of the 12th century, winegrowing was one of their main occupations. What was initially intended for their own consumption soon developed into a sought-after commodity that secured the future and prosperity of the monastery.
