Creative Block 3 2020

The Spier Creative Block 3 flows into the glass in a dark ruby red, which fades into a beautiful violet at the rim. The bouquet reveals wonderful aromas of violets, black pepper and fennel, while notes of mulberries and dark cherries provide a fruity component. The cuvée of Shiraz (93%), Mourvèdre (4%) and Viognier (3%) is silky smooth on the palate and pampers the connoisseur with rich fruity nuances. Whether enjoyed on its own or with dishes with a spicy curry or grilled meat, the Spier Creative Block 3, which has matured for sixteen months in French and American oak, is always an excellent choice. The red wine is part of a collection named after an art project. The winemakers at Spier combine grapes from different vineyards and plots to create wines with a unique character - the Spier Creative Block 3 is one of them.
