2021 Sk'Windjiesvlei Tinta Barocca

This is a very important vineyard in the Swartland because of its age and the quality of the wine. The Tinta Barocca has found a good home here in Swartland and grows well here, offering a wonderful freshness of fruit and tannin in many blends.
The grapes are carefully sorted in the vineyard and transported in small harvest crates to a refrigerated container where they cool overnight. Half of the grapes are destemmed and fermented in a concrete tank, being pumped over once a day. When fermentation is almost complete, the tank is pressed and the must is transferred to 2000-liter containers for 11 months. Bottles produced: 1450.
