Fine aroma of pears and yellow peppers with a hint of cassis. Delicately spicy, attractive bouquet. Complex, juicy and fine texture with beautifully integrated acidity. The taste of peach and white pepper and the mineral, almost salty finish make this wine a versatile food companion. The incredible length promises excellent ageing potential. With 95 points, Falstaff was probably also convinced by this wine.

Once upon a time, not so long ago, a Bavarian wine enthusiast lost his heart to Styria. He was captivated by the sight of the hills and their dizzyingly steep rows of vines. The spicy, fragrant air of the high-lying mixed forests filled him with joie de vivre. The tranquillity and self-confidence of the Styrians enticed him to stay. And so he stayed! The rest is history.

And the pleasure, love at first sight!

The Styria is one of the most important wine regions in Austria and especially the Southern Styria is considered a jewel of viticulture. The region is characterised by picturesque vineyards stretching over gentle hills and a unique climate that combines Mediterranean and alpine influences. This combination creates ideal conditions for fresh, aromatic white wines such as Sauvignon Blanc, which is considered the flagship of Southern Styria, as well as Welschriesling, Morillon (Chardonnay) and Yellow Muscat.

Southern Styria is characterized by its steep terraces, mineral soils and its tradition-conscious as well as innovative winemakers. In addition to the wines, charming Buschenschänken attract you, where you can taste regional specialties and the wines of the region. Southern Styria combines excellent wine with an unmistakable culture of enjoyment and a breathtaking landscape.
