Satén is a protected name of the "Consorzio della Franciacorta", which describes a Blanc de Blancs with less than 4.5 bar pressure, a maximum of 15g sugar per liter and an ageing period of at least 24 months on the lees. This combination results in an extremely soft, velvety Franciacorta that is the perfect accompaniment to food.
