2022 Ruby Carnuntum

The Zweigelt presents itself in the glass in a dark ruby red with violet edges. The nose begins with moss, mushrooms and roasted aromas, followed by plums, redcurrants and sour cherries, with a hint of spice rounding off the bouquet. Round and full-bodied on the palate with a slightly tart tannin structure, a floral touch with violets but also a hint of chocolate, spicy and animating on the finish.

Recommendation: Wonderful with game dishes and all types of beef: boiled, grilled, roasted, braised or raw as a carpaccio. Fresh parsley or fresh coriander underline the liveliness of the wine.
