Roses Roses 2024 from Ottella is a rosé wine made from the Corvina Veronese, Lagrein and Rondinella grape varieties. The grapes come from the best sites on the moraine hills of the Alto Mincio. The grapes are harvested by hand from the end of September to the beginning of October. After destemming by swinging, maceration takes place on the skins for around 10 to 12 hours at a controlled temperature. The resulting must has a delicate pink onion skin color. The subsequent fermentation lasts 14 to 18 days at 18°C. To avoid malolactic fermentation, the wine is separated from the marc after alcoholic fermentation. In the glass, the Roses Roses 2024 is a light onion skin pink. The bouquet is captivating with fruity notes of white peach and a pleasant mineral nuance. On the palate, the wine shows remarkable finesse, balance and character, supported by a fresh acidity.
