Roederer Collection Deluxe

Since 2021, the multi-vintage blend Collection has been the worthy successor to the Brut Premier. The number of each annual cuvée, e.g. 244, stands for the 244th vintage since Louis Roederer was founded in 1776. The 244 blend combines the grapes from the 2019 vintage with the freshness of the Reserve Perpétuelle created by Roederer in 2012 and reserve wines from selected parcels, aged in large oak barrels in keeping with Louis Roederer tradition. Deep golden yellow color. Dense, regular string of pearls with extremely fine bubbles. The bouquet is full and complex with aromas of ripe fruit (vineyard peaches, Williams pears) and citrus fruits (lemon, blood orange). There are also aromas of chalk and light reductive notes that indicate a densely woven, powerful wine. Delicious, expressive and seductive on the attack. Concentrated and extremely juicy, as if you were biting into ripe fruit. The texture is soft, flattering and envelops the palate. The delicate perlage immediately lends it lightness. A chalky freshness ensures a wonderful length. An extremely seductive wine with light toasted aromas, its tasty finish makes it extremely fresh. Smoky notes conclude this exquisite finish. Collection 244 marks the return of the texture of the Meunier from our Roederer vineyards La Montagne and La Reviere, which lends the saline, richly structured Pinots Noirs and Chardonnays a wonderful complexity!
