2018 Roda I Reserva 1.5l

Deep and vibrant red with a red rim. Less overcast than other warmer and drier vintages. Intense on the nose with perfectly integrated oak that leaves elegant details. The fruity impression is black and red at the same time, reminiscent of plums and fresh cherries. There are sweet, subtle spices such as cinnamon and cloves. The palate is very fruity and the cherry stands out from the plum. Fresh and enveloping at the same time, with fine and lively tannins. It has the length of the Atlantic vintages, where the freshness is preserved and the liveliness is present.

Recommendation: Drink at 16-18 degrees Celsius, open 1-2 hours in advance, decant if possible. Goes very well with dark meat, fillet of beef, game fowl and spicy game ragout or strong, mature hard cheese.
