Our Riesling sparkling wine, produced from the Rheingau vineyards, delights with its fine perlage and fruity freshness. This sparkling wine was produced using the traditional champenoise method, in which the second fermentation takes place in the bottle and is disgorged after at least 24 months on the lees. The aromas of the Riesling sparkling wine are characterized by citrus fruits and green apple. The sparkling perlage and well-integrated acidity give it an invigorating quality. Compared to Silvaner sparkling wine, this Riesling sparkling wine is characterized by its fruitiness and effervescence.

Traditionally, the Fürst Löwenstein winery produces almost exclusively dry wines. The Fürst Löwenstein winery stands for a wine philosophy that is characterized by the unique climatic and geological conditions of the family-owned vineyards, in particular the famous Homburg Kallmuth with its steep slope.

400 years of princely winegrowing tradition. The history of our family and our wine stretches from 1611 to the present day. Back then, wine was of great importance in the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation. Huge quantities were produced and drunk. The Princes Löwenstein were a European noble house with estates on the Main and in the Odenwald, in Bohemia and Lorraine, in the Palatinate and in what is now Belgium. And they were also in the fortunate position of always having their own wine, with a winemaking tradition stretching from the beginnings in the town and county of Wertheim to Kleinheubach, where Prince Carl Thomas maintained a fabulous wine cellar in the 18th century. The upheavals of the Napoleonic era not only shaped the fortunes of the House of Löwenstein, but also created the conditions for the further development of viticulture in Franconia. During the German Empire, the top vineyards in Hallgarten in the Rheingau and the Kallmuth monastery vineyard, which had been cultivated since the Middle Ages, became part of the Löwenstein estate. The wines from the Rhine and the Main, brought together and matured in Kleinheubach Castle, which was built in 1725 according to the French model, today embody the European dimension of the history of the Princes Löwenstein.the Princely Family of Löwenstein looks back with pride on its successful winemaking tradition. It will be continued and further developed at the family's seat in Kleinheubach Castle. Wine enriches the present, and viticulture connects the past with the future.
