Strong, bright ruby red with a generous, complex nose in which notes of sour cherry and aromatic herbs are to the fore, as well as hints of vanilla and pepper. The taste is powerful and confident with elegant spice and pastry cream on the finish. A full-bodied, mineral wine characterized by an astonishing balance.

Recommended with: Strascinati pasta with Pezzente salami and king oysters, mushrooms, gnumaridd rolls with lamb offal, braised or grilled.
