The Neethlingshof Short Story Collection The Six Flowers shimmers a beautiful lemon yellow in the glass and pampers the senses of every white wine lover from the very first moment with its fruity aroma of ripe yellow apples and pears. Nuances of rose petals and a hint of nutmeg and cookie add the finishing touches to the bouquet. On the palate, the cuvée of Chenin Blanc (26%), Sauvignon Blanc (24%), Chardonnay (20%), Viognier (12%), Riesling (12%) and Gewürztraminer (6%) is incredibly well-structured and aromatic. Notes of grapefruit and nectarine are accompanied by a hint of chamomile and undertones of caramel. You should definitely enjoy this exceptional white wine cuvée on its own, but the wine also pairs wonderfully with a curry with chicken, coconut and apricots. Goat's cheese, asparagus or salads are also a good choice with the Neethlingshof Short Story Collection The Six Flowers. The name refers to the flower that adorns the gable of Neethlingshof's Cape Dutch Manor House. The ornament commemorates the former owner Maria Marais and her six children.
