The dark ruby red color already heralds an expressive red wine - a promise that the Neethlingshof Short Story Collection The Caracal Magnum keeps. On the nose, aromas of blackcurrants and blueberries unfold, accompanied by a hint of cedar. On the palate, the red wine cuvée made from Cabernet Sauvignon (45%), Merlot (24%), Petit Verdot (14%), Cabernet Franc (9%) and Malbec (8%) is also wonderfully fruity with nuances of plums, sour cherries and blackcurrants. A beautiful licorice note rounds off the taste experience before the well-structured red wine finishes with a long-lasting aftertaste. The Neethlingshof Short Story Collection The Caracal Magnum matured for twelve months in French oak and is an excellent accompaniment to meat dishes or savory dishes.
