2022 Nebbiolo d'Alba Bernardina

The Bernardina impresses with elegant red fruit and a present and integrated tannin. Fortunately, it no longer has to be a deep black color like 15 years ago, when everyone was going crazy for ink. Nebbiolo is simply very Burgundian in color. Nebbiolo in its purest form, with a lot of varietal character and more light-footed than a Barolo with its powerful tannins, which are designed for a long life.

Recommendation: Serve decanted at 16 degrees Celsius, goes well with pasta with porcini mushrooms or ragout, roast wild boar or mature cheese.
