2017 Nackenheim Riesling dry 1.5L

Compared to the Nierstein vineyards, the Nackenheim parcels have a less southerly exposure. As a result, the fruit is somewhat more restrained, but the stony spiciness is more pronounced. Aromas of tobacco, summer herbs and yellow fruit harmonize wonderfully with the smoky spice, lively acidity and slender body. Overall, the NACKENHEIM Riesling dry appears austere and clear with a wonderful fullness and elegant creaminess. This is due, among other things, to the poor subsoil, the long yeast storage and the partial ageing in large old barrels.
