2021 Maximin Riesling Brut

The MAXIMIN sparkling wine already reveals its fruity, fresh and elegant character on the nose. It has a floral scent of white spring blossoms, especially elderflower. Subtle herbs such as woodruff give it a subtle spiciness. Its fruit is subtle with green apples and gooseberries. The apples can be found again on the palate. There are also pears and quinces. Its subtle spiciness is combined with nutty aromas and the taste of almonds. Woodruff can also be found here. The perlage is fresh and tangy but not too intense and supports its fresh, green and fruity character.

Recommendation: An excellent accompaniment to honeydew melon with Parma ham or buffalo mozzarella and wild garlic pesto.
