2020 Le Tense Sassella Valtellina Superiore

The Le Tense Sassella Valtellina Superiore from Nino Negri is bright garnet red in the glass. On the nose, the red wine has a wonderfully fruity aroma of raspberry jam with a hint of cherries. The palate is beautifully concentrated, dense and full-bodied with softly integrated tannins. Goes well with dark meat, but also with game or lamb.

Recommendation: This wine is perfect as an accompaniment to braised chicken in red wine, ossobuco or lamb ragout with chickpeas and dried figs.
