2022 Herrenberg Riesling Superior

The Herrenberg Superior impresses on the nose with fruity aromas of lime zest, lychee and grenadine. Nuances of wet slate and yeasty tones from the spontaneous fermentation can be felt. There are also white flowers and a hint of mint and lemon balm. On the palate, there is a perfect balance of salinity, fruit and tangy acidity. Fine pineapple, grapefruit and salted lemon paired with playful herbal notes of lemon balm and green tea. A wine with a grippy texture, juiciness and an enormous drinking flow.

Recommendation: The Superior is a particularly fine accompaniment to fish and seafood. Crustacean bisque or fillet of skrei in Parma ham on tomato compote.
