Dulcis Vino Liquoroso

The must is processed using the liqueur method with the addition of alcohol, which blocks the fermentation of the fresh must and keeps the sugar composition unchanged. Intense golden yellow, shiny appearance. Dulcis is reminiscent of orange blossom, with a delicate almond aroma and candied fruit. Dulcis is soft in the mouth, warm and slightly alcoholic, with a very long aftertaste and a finish of white dried fruit, apricot and fig. Curiosity: formerly known as Vin Santo, it was changed to Dulcis following the Regulation on liqueur wines (EC 753/2002), which deprives Italy of the use of the name Vin Santo for liqueur wines and only permits this use for DOC and DOCG liqueur wines.
