2020 Côte-Rotie Seigneur de Maugiron

The color is deep carmine red. The powerful yet subtle nose of the Cote-Rotie "Seigneur de Maugiron" reveals aromas of blackcurrant and redcurrant, liquorice and smoke, underpinned by light woody notes. The palate shows a dense tannin structure. The wine is well balanced with a silky texture. It combines fine concentration with great delicacy.

Recommendation: Fine meats, roast beef, water games, grapes, spicy stews. The bottle should be opened 1 to 3 hours before serving and decanted if the wine has been aged for more than 5 years.
