2019 Châteauneuf-du-Pape

This "pope" of the southern Côtes-du-Rhône seduces with its richness and round tannins. A deep, dark red in the glass. Aromas of spices and ripe red fruit on the nose. Round tannins on the palate with powerful complexity. A rich, supple wine with notes of ripe plums, hazelnuts and red fruits. Overall impression : Very full-bodied wine full of harmony and balance.

Recommendation: Serve at 17 degrees Celsius, decant if possible and open an hour beforehand to allow the wine to develop its full potential. A great wine with a lot of power, it goes perfectly with braised beef, game dishes with a spicy, strong sauce and fruit components, e.g. chocolate sauce with stewed cherries. We recommend drinking this wine until 2033.
