Intense ruby red, shiny in the glass. The bouquet is multi-layered, with aromas of blackcurrants, elderberries, coffee, dark chocolate, some vanilla and licorice. On the palate, it shows its finely spiced fruit, juicy fullness, ripe tannins, densely woven and elegant.
Recommendation: Serve decanted at 16 degrees Celsius, goes well with meat dishes, beef steaks, braised vegetables, roast lamb and milder cheeses.
