2017 Château La Grave

Dark garnet red with ruby reflections, bright in the glass. Fine, elegant bouquet, wild berries, floral hints with violet blossoms, some cassis, complex and animating. On the palate, this wine is very elegant, juicy with a good drinking flow, well structured. The acidity is fresh and wonderfully integrated, the tannins are ripe and velvety. The finish is very long and wonderfully spicy.

Recommendation: Drinking temperature 16-18 degrees Celsius, open 1 hour in advance, decant if possible. Roasted or braised dark meat dishes with strong sauces and fruity components, as well as matured hard cheese made from raw milk or aromatic semi-soft cheese go perfectly with this wine. Optimal drinking maturity 2023 - 2040.
