2016 Château La Cardonne Cru Bourgeois Supérieur

This Médoc matured for twelve months in new (50%) and one-year-old used barriques. The wine has an impressive aroma of blackcurrants, plums and tobacco. On the palate, the wine presents itself with notes of cocoa, liquorice and a fine woody note. A classic Bordeaux from the Médoc region that impresses with its complex structure and fruity density.

Recommendation: Serve at 16 degrees Celsius, goes well with pasta dishes, spicy meat dishes, e.g. leg of lamb, spicy vegetables and mature cheese. We recommend drinking this wine until 2024.
