Bottler, importer: Weinhof Preis, Schulgasse 14, 3508 Tiefenfucha, Austria
Weinhof Preis has been located in the southern Kremstal in the beautiful village of Tiefenfucha for generations and is run as a family business. We cultivate 2.5 hectares of vines (80% white wine, 20% red wine) and 0.8 hectares of fruit.
The grape varieties are adapted to the soil and climate conditions and are cultivated as naturally as possible. In terms of business philosophy, we strive to combine proven traditions with state-of-the-art vinification and see no contradiction in this.
Instead of expansion, we focus on preserving and increasing quality. We can take optimum care of every detail in the vineyards and in the cellar. For us, quality control begins with the pruning of the vines right through to bottling.
All grapes are hand-picked, crushed and gently pressed after a certain maceration period. pressedThe grape must is fermented in stainless steel tanks or in wooden barrels and stored there until the wine reaches optimum maturity for bottling.
