2022 Castel Firmian Merlot

This red grape became famous thanks to its pleasantness. The wine is produced only with grapes from our own vineyards located around the northern shore of Lake Garda. Elegant wine, with a strong character and pleasant nuances of wild berries. Traditional red vinification with skin maceration for 6 to 7 days, fermentation at a controlled temperature (26 to 28 degrees) and ageing in wood (6 to 8 months) Color: Deep coral red Bouquet: Notes of sour cherry and wood on the nose. Taste: A strong, spicy, full-bodied wine with aromas of sour cherry and juniper.

Recommendation: This wine is an excellent accompaniment to roast beef, baked pork and clear soups.
