2020 Blaufränkisch Ungerberg

Powerful, elegant, fine mineral note. The top Ungerberg vineyard slopes towards the southwest, which heats up the soil very well and gives the late-ripening Blaufränkisch the perfect ripeness. Lime in the soil ensures a beautiful juiciness, while the iron layer in the subsoil provides a harmonious minerality.

Recommendation: Serve at 16-18 degrees Celsius. Goes very well with dark meat dishes, e.g. roast beef steak and braised dishes, braised shoulder of lamb with Mediterranean herbs and game birds. Medium-strength cheese goes equally well with it.
