2015 Blanc de Blancs Brut Vintage 1.5l

Gold-colored, radiant, with light green reflections. Extremely fine, delicate, creamy effervescence. Clear, exceptionally mineral bouquet with notes of citrus fruit (cedar apple), aromas of white vanilla-scented flowers (pollen) and harvest aromas (almonds, cereals). The freshness of this bouquet is also expressed in the form of notes reminiscent of mint and iodine (sea breeze). Gradually, warmer smoky and roasted aromas and notes of melted butter emerge. The attack is creamy, concentrated and delicate at the same time. Then intense with a delicate effervescence. A mature, densely concentrated wine with an extremely powdery texture and a very saline finish. Wood and smoky notes give it a beautiful length and complexity and indicate good ageing potential. The finish is aromatically clear, refreshing and very tasty.

Recommendation: Serve well chilled at 8 degrees Celsius. As an aperitif for any special occasion. It is a wonderful accompaniment to food, aromatic fish goes particularly well with it, e.g. sushi or monkfish fillet with truffle foam. Classics such as caviar, oysters or fine Brillant Savarin cheese are always a real treat.
