2022 Barbera

Soft tannins and stimulating acidity meet this deeply fruity, convivial wine. Barbera has the energy of a moonlit blackberry harvest and a cup of cinnamon tea. Swartland's answer to Piedmontese wine.
Food recommendation: anything indulgent and/or Italian. This wine needs food and pairs well with the layered flavors of puttanesca. Try it with roasted shishito peppers, grilled romaine lettuce and dishes with burnt herbs.
