2018 B-52 Pinot Noir Heimersheimer Burggarten GG

The top wine from the Nelles winery from the Heimersheimer Burggarten vineyard presents itself with a dark, ruby red color in the glass. The bouquet is characterized by an opulent Pinot aroma, intense and dense fruit substance, it smells of black cherries, wild raspberries, herbs, rosemary and a hint of bacon. On the palate it is wonderfully spicy, clearly structured with creamy acidity, ripe, noticeable tannins, the finest roasted aromas, length and fullness. A great Pinot Noir.

Recommendation: Serve decanted at 16-18 degrees, goes excellently with dark meat or game with a strong jus and hearty side dishes, such as braised pork cheeks in red wine jus with caramelized onions, bacon beans and herb potatoes, roast duck and medium-strong cheese. Optimal drinking maturity 2021-2029.
