2022 Abtsberg Riesling Superior

This wine shows the typical Abtsberg character. An intense aroma of ripe fruit such as apricots and yellow peaches paired with a minerality reminiscent of wet stone. Fine herbal nuances and green tea can be felt. On the palate, it shows juicy, ripe citrus fruit such as pink grapefruit as well as candied fruit such as orange. These fruit aromas combine with a hint of lemon balm, honey and the salty minerality so typical of the Abtsberg. The wine impresses with its balance and finesse. It has an animating style and enormous drinking flow.

Recommendation: The Superior is an all-round food companion. Not only with hot, spicy Asian dishes, but also with eggplants with tomato sauce and Parmesan cheese.
