Harvested between September and October. Training system: spurred cordon, planting density: 4/5,000 plants per hectare, average yield: 120 quintals per hectare. This wine is made exclusively from the grape must obtained by gentle pressing, cold vinification in stainless steel and stored on fine lees at low temperatures until bottling. Intense red with violet hues, green spices, pepper and cinnamon on the nose. The finish has light, buttery notes and sour cherry. Taste: Sangiovese is characterized by balance and freshness and has a long and soft structure and expresses the immediate scent of fruit with pleasant hints of floral violet notes. Harmonious and balanced tannins, fresh and persistent finish. Curiosity: Sangiovese is the most widespread grape variety in Umbria and central Italy: it produces great wines in the grape or in purity, but it is also ideal for fresh wines of great pleasure, companions of everyday life. Label: the stylistic motif is inspired by the formal 14th century quadrilobates that adorn the façade of Perugia Cathedral: a formal balance that interprets the history of the territory with elegance and modernity.
