2023 Grillo Di Mozia Sicilia

Mozia is a small, museum-like island in the Stagnone lagoon of Marsala. Thanks to its microclimate and soil, it is an absolutely unique growing area. Viticulture here has always been linked to the marine ecosystem. The first vines were planted at the beginning of the 19th century, when the English, who came to Marsala, recognized the local wine-growing potential. Today, we cultivate around 13 hectares of vineyards in Mozia, surrounded by archaeological sites dating back to Phoenician times, which are now expertly preserved by the Whitaker Foundation.
