2022 Pinot Blanc dry VDP

It is not uncommon to find German Pinot Blancs that have an artificial fruitiness and lack tension due to their moderate acidity. This VDP estate wine from the Rheinhessen white wine whisperer Philipp Wittmann does not follow any commercial trends and presents the Pinot Blanc grape variety in a particularly unadulterated way. And even though this wine is 'only' an estate wine, its quality is immediately impressive. The Pinot Blanc was produced according to elaborate biodynamic principles, strictly selected and fermented for the most part in old wooden barrels.
