2022 Trespo Umbria Bianco

Cuvée from local white grape varieties, harvested at the end of September. Training system: double Guyot, planting density: 5,000 plants per hectare, average yield: 85 quintals per hectare. The wine is made exclusively from grape must obtained by soft pressing. Vinification in steel at a controlled temperature (16-17€ C) and stored on fine lees until bottling. Straw yellow color with accentuated greenish reflections. The nose is fruity with notes of citrus, tropical fruit and mineral notes. Trespo has a long fruity persistence and a very refreshing finish. Focus: wine with fresh and elegant aromas and a lively acidity. Curiosity: since, according to the norm since 2020, the grape variety of this wine can only be indicated in the DOC version and no longer in the IGT Umbria, we have decided to give it an imaginary name that only vaguely recalls it: Trespo. Label: the stylistic motif is inspired by the formal quadrilobates from the 14th century that adorn the façade of Perugia Cathedral: a formal balance that interprets the history of the territory with elegance and modernity. A sign of our company's attachment to its territory.
