2022 L'UM Rosso dell´Umbria

The wine is fermented at a controlled temperature (26€C) in steel, with short maceration, daily re-fermentation and de-stemming after 18 days, aged for 8-10 months in barrique and then in bottle before release. Color: bright and intense red with violet nuances. Aroma: complex and warm, with notes of sour cherry and fruit in spirit, delicate hints of coffee, cocoa and sweet spices. Taste: wine of beautiful structure, supported by fresh acidity and harmonious tannins, finishing on fresh red fruits and long-lasting aftertaste with pleasant softness. Focus: this modern and versatile wine owes its soft fragrance to Merlot and its freshness and complexity to Sangiovese. Curiosity: the name "½LÆUM" comes from the first letters of "½Umbria", the same as LUNGAROTTI: once again underlining the strong bond with our land.
