2021 Palmer

Vibrant ruby and purple in color, this is a brilliant wine, inky and with crisp, supple tannins. Leave it to mature for a full 8 to 10 years before drinking, and here you get the sense that hardly any sacrifices have been made to the vintage, it feels entirely in character with Palmer. Hearty but abundant blue and black fruits, plenty of crayon, cocoa bean and slate, with a floral beauty and a delicious finish. 27 hl/h yield, harvest September 24 to October 16, 55% new oak (first year in barrel, second year in larger 3,000-liter oak barrels).
