2021 Malartic Lagraviere Rouge

Abundant tannins hold the fruit carefully in place, showing layers of anise, fennel, rosemary and sage. Abundant black fruit, young and subdued with some angular tannins at this point, less lush than in recent vintages, but this is a winery that takes a quality approach to everything and this wine should age well. One point higher, tasted twice. 42.25 hl/h yield, Eric Boissenot consultant. Harvest from September 29 to October 19. 65% new oak.
