2021 Ilbio Umbria Rosso BIO

Nose: good complexity and broad olfactory spectrum: licorice, cinnamon, pine resin and sweet tobacco, with a finish decidedly on sweet spices and jam. Palate: elegant and very enveloping in the attack, has a good alcohol content, a nice attraction to red fruits and a balsamic note, soft and dense tannins. Persistent retrogusto and well-balanced tannins. Label: the label shows the cadastral map of our Montefalco estate of agronomy Lungarotti, located along the SP 445 that leads from Montefalco to the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Stella. Just as in the past the cadastre indicated the main elements of each vineyard (people who lived and worked there, cultivation, harvest, etc.), here we wanted to reflect both the main characteristics of the vineyard from which the grapes come and those of the wine itself.
