2021 Bacco In Toscana Toscana Rosso

After fermentation, the wine is stored for around 3 months in used wooden barrels on the fine lees and stirred once a week. It is naturally filtered by repeated decanting. It then matures for at least 3 months in the bottle under the best storage conditions. Bacco in Toscana is a young, very pleasant, fruity and full-bodied red wine. It is best stored in a cool, dark place in a horizontal position. Vintage 2021: It was an excellent vintage, albeit very dry in summer. However, the intense rainfall during the winter period supported the vines perfectly throughout the production phase. In addition, the summer was characterized by excellent ventilation with average temperatures, apart from a few short periods of intense heat. Thanks to the very deep alluvial soils, which allowed the vines to develop a well-developed root system over time, our vines showed no signs of water loss. The Syrah was harvested on September 20th and the Sangiovese 4 days later. Bacco in Toscana is characterized by an intense color, is very pleasant and round, with fruity and black pepper aromas, fresh and balanced.
