2020 Molceo Lugana Riserva

San Benedetto di Lugana, in the southern part of Lake Garda. The grapes come from the company's own vineyards, which are particularly suitable for the production of Lugana due to the high content of white clay in the soil. The grapes are harvested and selected by hand in October. Some of the grapes are gently pressed whole, while the others are de-stemmed by gentle shaking. The vinification follows a strict procedure: partial malolactic fermentation, 18 months maturation on the fine lees, mostly in stainless steel, the rest in barriques and large wooden barrels. Intense golden yellow. Beguiling aroma that opens immediately with notes of citrus fruit, white flowers and elegant mineral hints. Rich, structured and complex on the palate with engaging mineral aromas, flint and petrol notes. Persistent finish. Rich in finesse, long ageing potential.
