2020 Contrada Pianodario Etna Rosso Tenuta Tascante

Contrada Pianodario comes from vineyards located at over 700 meters on the slopes of Mount Etna. The soil is of volcanic origin and up to 40,000 years old. The indigenous Nerello Mascalese grape variety from the Tascante winery thrives on this soil and is used 100 percent for the Pianodario Etna Rosso DOC. An elegant, very mineral red wine with a fine acidity and an aroma of dried cherries and orange peel.
