2019 Grüner Veltliner Private Kremstal

As the most widely cultivated white wine variety in Austria, Grüner Veltliner had lost its reputation in the wine world. Thin and sour, uninteresting and for the masses. Only a few wines from the Wachau enjoyed greater acceptance among critics and wine gourmets. By uncompromisingly reducing yields and throwing old "Doppler" traditions overboard, a group of young winegrowers have managed to win the grape variety the place it deserves worldwide. Martin Nigl has played his part with the " Privat ".
