As always with DuMol's Cabernet, it is aged for 20 months in French oak barrels. In the case of the Ballard, 57% of these were new.
The nose is something special - dark and red fruits, dried thyme, wild sage play stunningly with rose petals and cedar. The dark and red fruits reappear in the mouth, along with cassis, bay leaf, aniseed, herbs and, above all, grilled meat. Super elegant and with the finest tannins.
