2018 Pichon Baron

As always, it smells a little riper, sweeter, more opulent than its neighbors, but there is also a lot of freshness, depth and complexity here, which also hints at a very great noble Pauillac. On the palate, it is surprisingly a little slimmer, especially than the monumental Lynch-Bages that I tasted just before, it also has a slightly tomboyish touch, but in a very positive sense, the wine has class and surprisingly lives from its elegance.
