2018 Latour à Pomerol

100% Merlot. Radiates the warmth of the vintage. Sensual, ripe and full-bodied fruit aromas with enormous depth. Cherry, blackberry, plum and elderberry. Some cocoa and leather and delicate spices in the background. Sensual, delicately sweet and lush on the palate with an abundance of black fruit. Refreshing acidity, which gives it this apparent lightness and makes it so incredibly juicy and delicious. The pure Merlot wines this year are simply outstanding. It is so incredibly delicate and pure pleasure. Again, we have these noble roasted aromas on the finish, which simply gives the wine this noble, charming character.
